Silicone Exterior Paint
Description
Silicone based, water borne, matt exterior paint for using decorative and protection purposes.
Uses
All types of exterior mineral facades; plaster, putty, cement, brick, concrete etc.

Surface Preparation
Dirt, grease, old loose or flaking materials must be removed from the surfaces. PRIME-EX Exterior Primer is applied as a single layer either with brush or roller to ensure better adhesion and equal penetration of the paint into the surface. Cracks etc. to be repaired with EXPAST Acrylic Exterior Paste.
Application
After the surface preparation, EXPLUS Silicone Exterior Paint is diluted with 20 % water and can be applied 2 coats with roller. Wait minimum 12 hours between the coats.
Consumption
PRIME-EX Exterior Primer 0,090 – 0,140 L / m2
EXPLUS Silicone Exterior Paint 0,200 – 0,250 L / m2 (for two layers)
Package
15 L / 7,5 L and 2,5 L plastic bucket
Storage and Shelf Life
1 year as of the production date in dry and moisture-free environment provided that packages will not be opened. Package should be kept tightly closed when not in use. Package should be protected against frost.
Caution
Before application on the concrete and plaster, 4 weeks needed for setting time of cement. Surface and ambient temperature must be above +5°C. Do not work direct to sunlight. Surface drying time is 12 hours under 20°C and 65% humidity. 36 hours needed for through dry and impact resistance.
S 2: Keep out of reach of children.
S 23: Do not breathe gas/fumes/vapour/aerosol.
S 24/25: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
S 37: Wear suitable gloves.
S 46: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
S 56: Dispose of this material and its container at a hazardous or special waste collection point
